How’s the new layout? Hopefully there aren’t too many glitches.
I’m deciding to include myself in the Marvel Cinematic Universe tag, started by Christine Smith (ChristineSmithAuthor.com).
Technically, Jen at Living Outside the Lines (https://livingoutsidethelinesfindingthewritelife.wordpress.com/2021/01/27/the-marvel-cinematic-universe-tag/) tagged anyone who wants to join, so here I am!

MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD so if you haven’t seen the Marvel movies, including Endgame, go ahead and skip this post.
The Questions
- How were you introduced into the MCU fandom?
I was introduced to the MCU really, really late. My family didn’t watch Marvel movies, and in middle school, I got so tired of hearing people talk about Marvel that I started saying I hated superhero movies.
However, during my senior year of high school, two of my friends convinced me that the movies were actually good and that I should watch them, so finally, I did. And now I’m in love with the MCU.
- What’s your favorite Marvel film?
THOR RAGNAROK. All the way.
Thor: Ragnarok is my comfort movie, and it always makes me laugh.
- Top favorite Marvel character?
My favorite Marvel character is Thor. I feel like I relate to a lot of his personality and character arc. His transition from Ragnarok to Infinity War to Endgame makes me cry every time. I just want to give him a hug and tell him that everything will turn out okay in the end.
If I had to pick another favorite, my second favorite character would be Loki. I love antagonists who look like they’re having fun.
- If you were transported into the MCU and had to trade places with one of the superheroes, who would you choose?
I would switch with Tony Stark/Iron Man. I really want to fly around in the Iron Man suit and build cool tech stuff with JARVIS.
- What are some of your favorite quotes from the films?
“Yay us! Pat on the back.” -Grandmaster

- Which crew would you want to be part of the most: Avengers, Guardians of the Galaxy, or Revengers?
That’s not a fair question!
Okay… if I had to choose, I would say the Revengers, but only if they got involved with the Avengers at some point and I could meet Tony Stark.
- Favorite and least favorite ship?
Here’s the thing… I don’t really ship that many characters.
My favorite ship would be Clint and Nat, but since Clint is married and has kids… it just feels weird to keep shipping Clintasha. I kind of wish Clint wasn’t married.
Second favorite ship is Tony and Pepper. Honestly, I hated them together when I started watching the movies for the first time, but now, they’ve really grown on me.
Least favorite ship is Thor and Loki. Don’t ship them. They’re siblings. That’s just disgusting.
- Favorite and least favorite villain?
(I don’t count Loki as a villain, because of how much he changed in Ragnarok/Infinity War.)
Favorite villain: Thanos, because he’s terrifyingly powerful, and he’s someone who you love to hate.
Least favorite villain: The villains from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies. They didn’t scare me at all.
- Unpopular MCU opinion?
I think that Sam deserved the Captain America shield more than Bucky did.
Not because he’s a better person, but because Bucky already had super strength and a metal arm. By giving the shield to Sam, Steve made sure that Sam and Bucky were a little more evenly balanced.
- What’s your favorite Stan Lee cameo scene?
It’s so hard to pick! But my favorite Stan cameo is the one in Ant Man and The Wasp, where he sees the car shrink and says, “The sixties were fun, but now I’m paying for it.” It made me laugh so hard I started crying!

Aaahh yay! You did the tag! I had SO much fun reading your answers! Loki is awesome and I love how he changed in Ragnarok. Oh! I love those quotes! The snake story was hilarious. XD I shipped Clint and Nat as well, but I also love Clint’s family which made me start shipping Nat and Steve. 🙂 That’s a good point about why Sam got the shield instead of Bucky.
